This issue of Homeopathy features a paper by Relton et al reporting a randomised controlled trial (RCT), of homeopathy for Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS). The trial was of small scale and described as a feasibility study. But it showed statistically significant and clinically useful improvement in patients receiving additional homeopathic care, compared to usual care alone, particularly in terms of function.1 This is the fourth published RCT of homeopathy for Fibromyalgia, but it marks a significant departure from previous work in terms of design and outcomes.
