Introduzione

More than 24% of Italian citizens use homeopathic medicines for the treatment of their health. Most doctors and pharmacists do not have any knowledge of homeopathy and homeopathic medicine and this does not properly cared for the many millions of citizens using these tools to care for their health. The arguments developed in the workshops that the School of Homeopathy Clinic SIOMI dedicated to the medical field experience provides students with information about the clinical application of homeopathic medicines according to the practical experience the teachers of school, who exercise the profession of medical expert in Homeopathy for at least twenty years. In particular, the FAD is placed in order to provide students with depth of the topics discussed during the residential type lectures.

The SIOMI offers a distance learning course (Entry level and Advanced FAD) consisting of 28 modules and entitled "National School in Homeopathy Clinic FAD". The successful completion of tests required for a total of 28 modules (please note that each assessment test has to be carried out separately within each module) will complete the 100 hours of the course. To access the course it must be installed on PC any Internet browser software: the platform is compatible with all popular browsers (Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc.), regardless of operating system (Mac and Windows, Unix, etc.).

Released under Open Source license, the platform allows hundreds of courses: each course space provides a list of tools enabling the teacher to have many choices.

Adjustable to various training contexts, the platform is customizable and offers a flexible and custom-made working environment. IES platform is capable of hosting a large number of users easily. It is compatible with Linux, Mac and Windows environments and it is based on free technologies like PHP and MySQL, using the current standards like SCORM and IMS/QTI for the exchange of contents.
